The Forest is a type of Point of Interest.
Overview[]
Forests are naturally lush tree formations. There lots of plants grow with edible berries, as well as some animals can be hunted for their meat, making them a reliable source of food.
A squad sent to forage must spend some Stamina to exhaust the place. This action is executed immediately and resources gained are placed in the Train's inventory.
Possible Outcomes[]
On its own, the forest may either reward resources[1] or none at all.[2]
Positive[]
- A squad member with Hunter trait may find additional food.[3]
- A squad member with Survivalist trait may additional food.[4]
- A squad member with Herbalist trait may additional herbs.[5]
Very rarely, the squad may find an overturned Red Army truck that looks abandoned at first glance, but then the owners return and force the squad to make a run for it. This time, instead of the usual loot, a large amount of assorted ammunition is rewarded.
Negative[]
- The squad could not find anything, inflicts morale loss.[6]
- Squad member with the Hunter trait finds nothing.[7]
- Squad member with the Avaricious, Clumsy or Reckless traits may eat poisonous berries, becoming Sick.[8]
- Squad member with the Clumsy trait may step into a nest of wild bees, loosing health.[9]
- A random squad member may twist an ankle[10], minor health loss.
